Abby is available in-person at the home office, at Rustic Way Ranch and via Telehealth across Texas.

Abby is an EMDR-trained LPC-Associate offering support for adolescents and adults in-person and virtually. With a client-centered focus, Abby integrates humanistic and cognitive-behavioral approaches, prioritizing one’s personal experiences and the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. However, Abby uses other modalities and approaches when best fit for the individual.

When your external world begins to consume you, your internal world may become lost. You may doubt your abilities, lose self-compassion, question who you are, and form disheartening beliefs. It can become overwhelming. Abby believes humans have the power within to take control of their stories and make positive changes, helping to reach their full potential and solve present and future challenges. With her guidance, you will become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and recognize just how powerful you are. With a non-judgmental and collaborative therapist-client relationship, one can unlearn unhelpful patterns, gain a deeper understanding of one’s emotions, and become more mindful in actions. She will guide and support you through Life’s demands, helping you to feel more empowered, become more accepting and aware of who you are as a whole person, and gain skills to feel more confident in yourself and your abilities. She will provide a space where you can safely be authentically you; a space to feel seen and heard. Above all, you will have the empathy and support of a therapist who sees the potential in you that you may not already see in yourself.

Ideal for those struggling with energy-depleting emotions, are on a personal growth journey, working on identity development, aiming to break unhealthy patterns, or wanting to improve relationships with the Self and others, Abby would be honored to support you. She is also an ideal counselor for those interested in incorporating the Enneagram in sessions, with a religious or non-religious approach, helpful in learning patterns of behavior, thought, and trauma. Lastly, she is ideal for those within the autism spectrum disorder (ASD) population, as she has a decade of experience implementing a variety of evidence-based interventions, including applied behavior analysis (ABA). She can assist with executive functions, communication skills, decision-making skills, social skills, and more.

    More About Abby

Abby has a deep passion for the Enneagram and its ability to help us understand and interpret different perspectives of the world, which led her to becoming a certified Enneagram coach. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her spouse and five rescues, cheering for her college football team, re-watching her comfort shows, and creating in the kitchen. The family hopes to one day start an animal-assisted rescue and sanctuary, to provide a space for healing humans and healing animals to connect.
