Sara is an LPC-Associate offering telehealth services across Texas. She is supervised by Maribel Corona M.Ed., LPC-S and Dr. James Whittenberg, Ph. D, CRC, LPC-S. Whether addressing issues related to stress, anxiety, relationships, or personal growth, she empowers her clients to navigate challenges and foster self-confidence and self-sufficiency.

Sara is from the vibrant community of the Rio Grande Valley (RGV), she has a deep understanding of Hispanic culture and traditions. As a native Spanish speaker, Sara seamlessly navigates between languages, creating an inclusive and comfortable space for clients. Su enfoque centrado en la persona y su empatía le han permitido establecer conexiones significativas con aquellos a quienes ha tenido el privilegio de servir.

She sees the beauty and importance of human connections believing our relationships and environment contribute to emotional well-being. As the world moves forward at a fast pace, we often lose sight of who we are. We may be challenged by feelings of inadequacy, isolation, self-doubt. When we reconnect with ourselves, we gain a deeper understanding of our values, goals, and priorities, allowing us to listen to our own needs, both physically and emotionally. This self-awareness can lead to personal growth, improved decision-making, and a greater sense of inner peace. The journey to a healthier lifestyle is often daunting, but Sara would be honored to be by your side as you take the next step towards better mental health. In the wise words of her grandmother, it’s best to take things, “un día a la vez”. One day at a time.

Sara welcomes individuals from all walks of life and is currently accepting new clients. Whether you prefer counseling in English or Spanish, Sara is committed to providing a supportive and confidential space for your personal growth and well-being.
