Abby is an LPC-Associate offering support for adolescents and adults both in-person and virtually. She takes a holistic approach in your emotional well-being, while utilizing humanistic and cognitive-behavioral interventions. However, Abby uses other modalities and approaches, when best fit for the individual.

When your external world begins to consume you, your internal world may become lost, and you forget your potential, lose self-compassion, and form disheartening beliefs. It can become overwhelming. Abby believes humans have the power within to take control of their stories and make positive changes. She believes one’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, and with an authentic and collaborative therapist-client relationship, one can unlearn their unhelpful patterned ways. While unlearning the unhelpful, you witness personal growth, gain a deeper understanding of your emotions, become more mindful in your actions, and gain wisdom and fulfillment, as you play an active role in your wellness.

She will challenge and support you through Life’s demands, helping you to feel more empowered, become more accepting and aware of who you are as a whole person, and gain skills to feel more confident in yourself and your abilities. You will not leave a session feeling unseen, unheard, or unwelcome. Above all, you will have the empathy and support of a therapist who sees the potential in you that you may not already see in yourself.

In addition to those who feel stuck and/or are working on the acceptance of Self, Abby is also an ideal counselor for those within the autism spectrum disorder population, as she has a decade of experience with implementing a variety of evidence-based interventions. She can assist with executive functions, communication skills, decision-making and problem-solving skills, social skills, and more, while maintaining an environment ideal for processing feelings, stressors, and conflicts.

    More about Abby

Abby has a deep passion for the enneagram and its ability to help us understand and interpret different perspectives of the world, which led her to becoming a certified enneagram coach. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her spouse and four rescue cats, cheering for her college football team, attending concerts, and creating in the kitchen. The family hopes to one day start an animal-assisted rescue and sanctuary, to provide a space for healing humans and healing animals to connect.
