Abby is available in-person at the Plano office, and via Telehealth across Texas.

Hi, there! I’m Abby, an EMDR-trained, Licensed Professional Counselor offering in-person individual counseling services and Texas wide via Telehealth.

I have a sincere appreciation for being the kind of Human others feel safe, seen, and heard by. I believe in the power of genuine connection, where your authentic Self is welcomed, valued, and supported. My approach is holistic, rooted in existential and humanistic perspectives, and guided by your unique values, lived experiences, and the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. I hold space for reflection, curiosity, and meaning to explore your inner truths, deepen self-awareness, understand and navigate your emotions, and reconnect with the parts of you that may have been forgotten or silenced. I draw from a variety of evidence-based and holistic approaches including acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, the Enneagram, logotherapy, assessments, and psychoeducation, to support your journey.

When Life’s demands start to feel overwhelming, it’s easy to lose sight of your inner workings and disconnect from the outer World. You may find yourself questioning who you are, doubting your abilities, struggling with self-compassion, feeling weighed down by disheartening beliefs, or overwhelmed by emotion. These experiences can make it difficult to maintain a clear sense of identity or direction.

I support clients in turning inward to deepen self-awareness, better understand and manage their emotions, and reconnect with their Inner World. Together, we gently uncover and move beyond deep-rooted beliefs and patterns that hold you back, build resilience to face Life’s ups and downs, and create a path for intentional living and mindfulness to deepen authenticity and nurture well-being. My goal is to help you reclaim trust in your Self and your ability to navigate Life with confidence. By recognizing the quiet strength within your thoughts, feelings, and choices, you invite clarity, healing, and meaningful growth. As you come to know your Self more fully, space opens for connection, wholeness, and the experience of being truly seen and understood.

I am especially well-suited to support individuals experiencing energy-depleting emotions, navigating emerging adulthood, exploring identity development, and embracing the freedom to find meaning, authenticity, and purpose. Alongside this, I help develop skills that foster empowerment and confidence to navigate present and future challenges in alignment with your values. I also have over 12 years of experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum (ASD) across various settings, and I continue to provide thoughtful, tailored support to the ASD community using a variety of approaches. My background also includes work in inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting adolescents in PHP and IOP, academic counseling, and Enneagram coaching.

In our sessions, you’ll find a safe space to be your authentic Self, supported by a collaborative therapist who recognizes the potential in you, even the parts you may not yet see. I help identify blind spots, build on your strengths, teach practical skills, and offer useful tools, all while bringing humor, compassion, validation, and empowerment to our work together. I deeply believe within each of us lies the power to shape our own stories, create positive change, and realize our fullest potential.

It would be an honor to be entrusted with your most vulnerable Self. If you’re curious about whether we might be a good fit, I offer complimentary consultation calls to see if we connect in the way you need.
