Whether your child witnessed something scary, is struggling with big emotions, or is pulling away at school and home, you can sense that something is off. Children often can’t tell us what’s wrong verbally, but they show us through behavior. Through play therapy, I enter their world the way they understand it, and that’s where healing begins.
How I Help
Child-Centered Play Therapy: I use this to create a safe, non-judgmental space where children naturally express what they’re carrying through play, art, and storytelling. This approach is especially powerful for children who have experienced trauma, loss, or family upheaval. Have you had moments where your child’s behavior seems so loud, they can’t seem to listen? Play therapy helps emotional regulation and lets children feel heard to then begin listening and healing.
Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT): This approach is great for strengthening the bond between caregivers and children. Whether you feel you have already tried everything or don’t know where to start, I help explore techniques and tools to fit you and your child.
Trauma-Informed & Somatic Approaches: I use psychoeducation about how stress lives in the body to help teens and adults calm their nervous system and build the mind-body connection. Biofeedback allows for real-time nervous system awareness that aids in regulation.
