Abby is available in-person at the Plano office, and via Telehealth across Texas.
Hi, there! I’m Abby, an EMDR-trained, Licensed Professional Counselor offering individual counseling in person in Plano and virtually across Texas.
I view therapy as a collaborative, reflective space where you can slow down, explore your inner world, and reconnect with what matters most to you. I deeply value creating an environment where others feel safe, seen, and heard, and I believe in the power of genuine connection, where your authentic Self is welcomed and honored.
My approach is holistic and integrative, grounded in humanistic, existential, and cognitive-behavioral perspectives. I draw from a variety of practices, including assessments, psychoeducation, and personality frameworks such as the Enneagram, to support reflection, exploration, and reconnection with parts of your Self that may have been forgotten or silenced.
I enjoy guiding clients on the journey of discovering their whole Self, exploring patterns, core motivations, beliefs, and fears, while encouraging intentional, non-judgmental, values-aligned choices. Clients develop skills that foster empowerment and confidence while deepening self-awareness and navigating emotions. Together, we compassionately engage with your inner world to build resilience, authenticity, and meaningful growth.
I help clients identify blind spots, build on strengths, and develop practical skills and strategies to navigate Life’s challenges, all while bringing humor, compassion, validation, and encouragement to our work. I deeply believe within each of us lies the power to shape our own stories, create positive change, and realize our fullest potential.
I’m especially well-suited to support individuals experiencing energy-depleting emotions, navigating emerging adulthood, exploring identity development, and embracing the freedom to find meaning, authenticity, and purpose. I also bring over 12 years of experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum (ASD) across a variety of settings and continue providing thoughtful support.
It would be an honor to be entrusted with your most vulnerable Self. If you’re curious about whether we might be a good fit, I offer complimentary consultation calls to see if we connect in the way you need.
