    Sometimes we get so busy keeping up with everything that we forget who we are underneath it all. The anxiety creeps in, the joy fades, and we lose touch with ourselves.     How I Help

    Grief Therapy (Certified Grief Informed Professional): Loss comes in all forms. From losing a loved one, a beloved pet, or a career change. I implement compassionate and empathetic approaches to help you grieve in a way that’s helpful for you. Grief is a universal experience, and you don’t have to face it alone. In my sessions, we honor the changes, people and places we once knew, and discover a new way of navigating the world after loss.

    CBT for Insomnia (CBTi Certified): This approach is great for people whose anxiety or depression has taken over their sleep. CBTi is a research-supported alternative to sleep medication that addresses the root thoughts and behaviors keeping you awake.

    Motivational Interviewing & Solution-Focused Therapy: These techniques are besties for someone who’s looking to enhance their existing strengths and have specific goals. I remind you of how strong you are and the potential that you have to create a healthier life. With using these techniques, therapy sessions are often faster pace and more structured to help you reach your goals.

    Education & Experience

    I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (2023). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Grief Informed Professional, and a CBTi Certified Therapist. I am also trained in the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale and SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment).

    A Little About Me

    I have a deep love for reading — romance, fantasy, and everything in between. I believe stories help us understand each other. I’m also a music lover and a proud cat mom to Martin, my rescued fur baby. He enjoys coming on camera and sitting in in our sessions. When I’m not in the therapy room, I’m probably lost in a good book or knitting/crocheting new pieces for my family and friends to wear.
