    How the Referral Process Works

    1. Use the Send a Referral form on our website to submit your client’s information and the reason for referral. You can also call us at 469-214-5111.
    2. We contact the referred client within one business day to schedule a consultation.
    3. With the client’s written consent, we provide you with confirmation that they have been seen and any clinically relevant communication agreed to in advance.
    4. We maintain an open line of communication for coordinated care when appropriate, including coordination with prescribers, school counselors, and other treating professionals.

We take the trust embedded in a referral seriously and treat every referred client with the same clinical care and attention we bring to all of our work.

    For School Counselors and Educators

We work closely with school counselors in the Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Fort Worth, and surrounding school districts. If you are identifying a student who would benefit from individual or family therapy, we are equipped to accept those referrals and to maintain appropriate communication with school-based support staff.

For school-related presentations, including anxiety, school refusal, social difficulties, behavioral concerns, and adjustment challenges, our play therapy and adolescent therapy teams are specifically trained to work with these concerns in developmentally appropriate ways.

    For Physicians and Psychiatrists

We welcome referrals from primary care physicians, pediatricians, OB/GYNs, and psychiatrists. We understand the value of integrated care and approach coordination with medical providers with the same clinical seriousness we bring to our therapeutic work. For clients with prescribers, we can coordinate care with written consent and contribute to treatment planning where appropriate.

Specific areas where physician referrals are particularly appropriate: postpartum depression and anxiety (our PMH-C certified clinician), CBTi for clients with insomnia not responding to medication, biofeedback for anxiety and stress-related physical symptoms, and trauma-focused work for clients whose presentation has not responded to medication management alone.

    Professional Services and Training

In addition to our clinical work with clients, our practice offers consultation and training services for mental health professionals:

    –     Play therapy supervision and consultation for clinicians seeking RPT hours or ongoing supervision

    –     CPRT training and consultation, including doctoral-level consultant and supervisor support

    –     Gottman Method consultation for therapists working with couples

    –     Case consultation for therapists working with complex trauma or play therapy presentations
